Shadows to Make YOUR Eye Color Pop!

Every eye color is beautiful and different colors make different eye colors pop!

1. Green eyes
When applying eye shadow on green eyes, you should focus on the deep purples and burgundy. Adding hints of purple or burgundy shadows will intensify and draw all of the attention to the green in the eyes. I have green eyes and my go to look always involves Makeup Geek's Bitten, Cherry Cola, and Curfew.
2. Blue eyes
If you are someone with blue eyes, orange shadows should be in your makeup collection. Adding different shades of orange on the eye to blend and transition with will make your blue eyes sparkle. Oranges such as Makeup Geek's Poppy and Chickadee are beautiful vibrant shadows. You can also add copper and warm browns with the oranges such as Makeup Geek's Cocoa Bear.
3. Brown eyes
Girls with brown eyes are so underrated. Ladies, if you have brown eyes, show them off! For eye shadow, this may sound crazy, but blues and greens will enhance the brown in your eyes. Now, this does NOT mean grab a blue eye shadow and cake it on your lid. When applying your eye shadow, start with a transition color(s) and create whatever look you want, but go back in at the end and blending in a deep blue or forest green. This will separate your makeup from your eye color. What I mean by that is your neutrals, browns, cool tones, or whatever you used will not run together with the brown in your eyes. Some beautiful shadows that I apply on girls with brown eyes (my mom), are Makeup Geek's Enchanted Forest, Time Travel, and Boo Berry.
For every eye, no matter what color, everyone needs transition colors. Starting your eye shadow with neutrals will help you build up to darker shades smoothly and blended. Nobody likes harsh lines. Makeup Geek's Peach Smoothie, Creme Brûlée, Beaches and Cream and Frappe are amazing transition colors for all skin tones and eye colors!
